I have had such a fun weekend!!! (yes, I'm including Friday in my weekend even though it isn't technically. ^_^) Friday was the last day of orchestra. :( I had so much fun hanging out with Chairity, Abigail, and Emmaline!! We had so much fun just hanging out and laughing and messing around on the piano and just being a clique! :D It was awesome. I am excited about starting again next year!
Saturday we went to Silver Dollar City to hang out with The Link Family and Alejandra all day and it was AMAZING!!!! I had so much fun it is crazy. :D :D :D :D :D :D We rode The Barn Swing, Powder Keg, and Wildfire So many times!!! It was awesome!!! The Links did an *amazing* job in the Single Mic Contest!! It was SO cool and fun to be there!!! After they finished playing the audience was screaming and clapping and they got a HUGE standing ovation!! it was so much fun. We watched one of their shows at the Dockside theater too which was a blast. During the rest of their shows Noni, Jonnah, and I were either riding roller coasters, getting food, or wandering around looking at jewelry stores. We had a great time. We got to be backstage at the Opera House Theater too! That was kinda cool! It was so weird though to go behind a "Staff Only" door and see the transformation in worlds!! lol. You would walk right out of Old-Time SDC with the costumes and old fashioned buildings, right into plain old concrete buildings, trucks, ugly doors, gravel-y pavement and potholes. :D It was really odd!
Sunday was pretty normal. There was church in the morning, then in the afternoon josh and Ty came over. Mum and Dad were gone though because they took Ms. Laura and Ms. Ellie out to lunch. Anywho, in the later afternoon Jonnah and Micah went home with josh and Ty to babysit while J+T went out for coffee with Mum and Dad. I was babysitting here at the house and checking the radar and warnings every 2 minutes (because I am so very *NOT* a fan of tornado weather up here....) and making dinner and such. I was so glad when Mum, Dad, Jonnah, and Micah got home. Dean was here but he was on the family computer in moms room....Anyways. Thankfully the storm missed us and we just got some crazy clouds and some rain. and a rainbow!! After all the rain the sun was down pretty low and it was peeking just over the horizon and shining on the tops of the trees and it made a GORGEOUS double rainbow...it was so beautiful! The woods and the sky behind the rainbow was so very dark but the sun was so bright! I just loved it. <3 ^_^
I better git now. :) I've been on a while....Stay safe everyone and have a happy week. <3
Joplin, Mo got hit really hard by a tornado last night....At least 89 confirmed dead (last I heard), about 75% of the city wiped out, and many people without homes. They need our prayers!! This must be really awful for the people who lived there and the people with loved ones who died last night! <3
