This is our "big" tree! We can't have a real big one 'cause we don't have room for it and it wouldn't last very long in here with wood heat. We are hoping to get a tall prelit atificial one someday though!!

So, the Christmas concert went really well! It was looong...but there are a lot of classes. And there was an intermission in the middle... which made it ok. :D The little kid classes were all before then the older classes after.  Our Messiah songs were so much fun! It is so awesome to play them with the choir! It is loooovely.

I am bummed about Orchestra being off for the rest of December...I will miss it. But there is SO much going on this month!! I have a lot to look forward to! It is very exciting.

This is prolly the dummest most boringest post on planet earth...but I did three Algebra lessons in a row today and I will blame anything dumb or boring or insane that I do tonight on all the brain cells that were fried trying to figure out how much "x" is when you mutiply it by the opposite of "b"...*sigh* Don't laugh smart people. I almost died.

I better get off the computer...It is almost dinner time and Dad and Dean are about to get home and the house needs cleaned up. <3

Thanksgiving and whatnot...

Obviously, I didn't get a post written yesterday like I had hoped. I started one.....And then Nonii popped up and we chatted...then I had to get my lovely little neice out of something...then I had to run something out to the freezer in the dark...That was awful. And did you know that we have cyotes out here?? I have heard them before! *shiver* I don't like going outside in the dark. I just ran out of time to finish a post. lol.
Anyways, I had a great weekend! We got to celebrate Thanksgiving twice this year. The first time was on Thanksgiving Day in KC with Dad's family. We had a *lot* of fun! It was the annual Burks Family Reunion and bowling tournament. I am garbage at bowling but we all had so much fun! I only ever get to do it when we go to Kansas City on Thanksgiving. :D 
The second time was Sunday here at the house. All of the married kids that are in town came and Gramma and Uncle Jared were here! We cooked and ate and hung out all day. It was pretty much awesome! I have the koolest family everz.
Yesterday I woke up late-ish and had pumpkin pie for breakfast. Then the kids watched Hogan's Heroes while Mom, Jonnah, and I listened to Christmas music and put up Christmas decorations! We are supposed to be school this week and I haven't gotten any of it done! Horrible huh?? I should be doing it now instead of blogging...but I would hate that..So I'm not. lol.
Dad and Deano just got home! ^_^ And it is almost dinner time. I am hungry. But I am pretty much always hungry...so nuthin' else is new there! lol.
I cannot wait until Friday!! Last Friday we didn't have any orchestra because it was Thanksgiving week. I have practiced like a crazy lady though and I am getting pretty decent at the Messiah songs we are playing. I am excited about all the Christmas events coming up. We have our Christmas Concert this Friday (We are playing a few of the peices from Handel's Messiah!!), then Christmas parties! I NEVER get tired of Christmas parties! If someone had one in the middle of Summer I would be there. xD I should do that.....;)
I broke my fingernail last night. It hurt like garbage.

Hiya people!! It has been way to long since the last time I blogged! I'm sorry 'bout that. I kinda got really sick of the name and the look though, so I have COMPLETELY changed it. :) I hope you like it!! Hello again! 
This week has been pretty hectic it seems like...I don't think it really has been....it has just really seemed that way! lol. I finally got caught up with my school and am soooo glad. :P I hate being behind...Yesterday I got to babysit my little GavinMan for the morning while his Mommy and Tabbi-Aunt were at orchestra! He wasn't feeling well but he was still the sweetest li'l thing. :D Anyways, about noon-ish Q was there to babysit and JO took me to orchestra for my classes. I was able to hang out for a little while before my class which made me happy. And we got Christmas music yesterday!!! :D I love Christmas...<3
Last night Aaron and Jen had some ppl over to watch Game 7 of the World Series! That was pretty fun. :D We all just had a good time and screamed when the Cardinals won. xD It was awesome.
Tomorrow is 5th Sunday which means Fellowship meal after church and hanging out! After that the Bakers are having a party at their house that is gonna be a blast. :D
I think I'm bored....I need a project. Mom, and Dean, and Micah have their arbonne thing...Even Jonnah loves studying up and being involved in all that....It bores. me. lol. Maybe when I am old enough to make some money at it it won't be so boring. :P I need to learn something new on my guitar. I loooove playing my guitar and learning new chords and songs is way too fun. :D It makes me happy. I learned how to play "Mary did you know" this week and I learned like 3 new chords in the process!! That is my favorite way to learn chords. Micah can just learn the chords by themselves. lol. I like to learn them as I learn a song though.
dude...this is getting rambly.....I am tired. ^_^
The other day Me and Jonnah put on gorgeous red formal dresses and did a photo shoot outside in the freezing weather and threatening rain. It was awesome. :D The sky was so dark and it really made the colors of all the leaves and grass look gorgeous. Anyways....

Jonnah and I didn't have anyone outside to take this pic for us...so we put the camera on "panorama" setting and I took a pic of her, then she took a pic of me, and it worked really well! We're proud of it. :D

P.S.HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DADDY!!! :D :D <3 <3 He is the most amazingest Daddio on earth and I love him loads and loads. I am so thankful to God for giving me the best Dad ever. :D  <3 xoxo

 

a new look!

I changed things up a bit on here! I like it so much better now. It was really bothering me. I don't know why. But I was starting to hate it. lol. It feels very fresh and new now! Don't you think? It is making me happy. I might change the background again sometime in the near future cos this one isn't really my style but I thought that this was really too cute not to be on ANYONE'S blog so it is on mine for a little while. :)

"Nothing Interesting to Say..."

Only....It's fall. :D Finally. It has just now really started to feel like fall too!!! Mom, Micah, Jonnah, Ethan, and Jeri, and me had to go to town this morning and I wore a hoodie, My leather Jacket, and a scarf!! :D And I was still chilly. It made me so happy. xD 

I want to go somewhere....Do any of you ever get that feeling? And no, I don't mean Wal-Mart or even the mall. I want to go somewhere faaaar away. just for a little while. I want to go to Jamaica or New Zealand or  England or Australia or somewhere like that. That sounds awesome. 'course. I would even settle for Florida or New york....;) Oh well. 

We just watched a Gene Kelly movie called "Always Fair Weather". I think. lol. It was a pretty dumb story but Gene Kelly tap dances in roller skates in that one. :D That made up for the retarded plot mostly. We have "Singin' in the Rain" too! That one is prolly my favorite that Gene Kelly EVER did! It is so cute. I love it. ^_^ 

This past weekend were the yearly "Revival" meetings at church! Pastor Jay preached some WONDERFUL sermons and we had a great time with Him and Ms. Linda. They stayed in Marshfield but we got to see them every evening. On Sunday there was a meal after church and a lot of people stayed and played some sports and just hung out. I actually played some volleyball believe it or not! lol. I almost never play. I stink at it so bad. :P I had a lot of fun though and Dean taught me how to serve the ball over the net instead of into or under it. :D lol. Anyways, After that, Dad an' Mum, Mr. and Mrs. Folk, and Mr. and Mrs. Baker went out to dinner. They all came to our house after and some of the married kids and Nate and Esther came over for snacks and hanging out! We had a really great time! We laughed a lot. They are wonderful friends. :D 

We don't have any school this week!! I am so so so glad. <3 I hate school. I can't wait to finish for good. :P

The kids are watching "UP" in the living room.....:D It is pretty funny to listen to. lol. I would rather sit here and listen to it then actually watch it. It is not one of my fave Pixar movies....

I ate Pizza rolls for lunch. yup. They were good.
