My pretty new Pumas that my Mum and Dad got me for my birthday!! I've been exercising in crappy old beat up converse and it's been really hard on my feet and ankles! I'm so happy to have real shoes now! I was not looking forward to saving up for them. :D

On to the apology! I've been terribly neglectful of you all recently. My life has been SO crazy busy I haven't had time to hardly sit down at the computer for more than 5 minutes at a time. I'll try to catch up some this week. :) <3

Plus, A lot of you know that I was in that Federated Music Competition (federation) on March 9th and I'm *very* proud to say I earned a Superior (5 out of 5 points) rating on both my two regular solo pieces, and on my concerto!! :D I'm so grateful to my awesome teacher, Liz, and my epic piano accompanist, Joanna (my sis ^_^). *sigh* so glad to have that all over!

Lifey stuff...

This week has been crazy. Ever since Lovely Asa got here. It seems like we haven't had a day to just breathe in much too long. I'm falling behind on school, I can't seem to find time to practice my violin and when I do I'm so sucky at it it frustrates me, and the busy isn't gonna stop....

*sigh*

I'm just trying not to let it get to me too much. (see how well it's working? :P guffaw) Life will slow down eventually. for now I just need to keep going getting whatever I can finished along the way. :) 

Saturday was my Granee's (great grandmother) 90th birthday party! My amazing mum and Gramma put it together for her and she was so surprised! A bunch of family got to come and it turned out so wonderful.

Friday was This epic girl's ^^ 18th birthday! 

She was able to come hang out at orchestra with me all day  and in the evening we had some girlfriends over and watched The Amazing Spiderman, ate food, played some games, and laughed our hearts out.

Spidey! I loved that movie. I've always kinda hated Spiderman until now...but that was Toby's fault. Hideous human that. :P Loved this guy though! :D 

Anyways, It's deer season here in good ol' MO and with a whole family that loves to hunt we're staying busy...We process and butcher all our own venison. I hate it. every time. lol. Oh well. I'm pretty good at it after a few years of doing it and deer season'll be over soon. :)

I don't think I'll be blogging much more until after new years....I may be wrong, but it feels like I'm going to be really busy. lol. Hopefully I'll be able to keep it up pretty well, but if you don't see many comments or posts from me, don't worry. I'll be back to my ol' self when life settles down.

seriously. like, my mind is soooo blank right now...

My Pirate birthday party was last night. It was epic. We watched all four movies in one afternoon/evening. from 2PM to 12AM. I had a few of my friends over and we just hung out and laughed and squealed and alsmot cried and had a blast. <3 yeap. It was totally fun. 'course, tons of cafiene and Doritos helps too...

I am sleepy. We went to the zoo today. It was about 76degrees. And sunny. And totally 100% gorgeous! I got giraffe snot on me. I wanted a picture of her lovely eyelashes, And she blew snot on me. Isn't she rude? Germ-X is lovely in a situation like that. 

I just knocked the mouse off the arm of the couch and caught it in mid-air. That's 'cause I'm a Ninja. 

I want to sail somewhere. I want to sail in a huge boat to some beautiful little island in the caribbean. 

I have to get off of here and get some sleep. Maybe sometime I'll blog for real istead of just posting nothing. *sigh* I'm leaving.

Birthday weekend.

Yesterday was my birthday. I am officially 17! how crazy is that!? I had a wonderful day. My Family party will be on the 20somethingth and my Pirate Party is this Sunday. :D I am so psyched! 'course, I am kinda very sad that my wonderful Bestie won't be able to make it. :'( It was the plan for her to come, but something came up unexpectedly and she can't come anymore. I had a huuuugeeeee JavaChip Frappuccino from Starbucks today. 

I love sparkles. A lot. Sparkles and shiney things. Yeah. I really love Sparkles.

Hello again! 
This week has been pretty hectic it seems like...I don't think it really has been....it has just really seemed that way! lol. I finally got caught up with my school and am soooo glad. :P I hate being behind...Yesterday I got to babysit my little GavinMan for the morning while his Mommy and Tabbi-Aunt were at orchestra! He wasn't feeling well but he was still the sweetest li'l thing. :D Anyways, about noon-ish Q was there to babysit and JO took me to orchestra for my classes. I was able to hang out for a little while before my class which made me happy. And we got Christmas music yesterday!!! :D I love Christmas...<3
Last night Aaron and Jen had some ppl over to watch Game 7 of the World Series! That was pretty fun. :D We all just had a good time and screamed when the Cardinals won. xD It was awesome.
Tomorrow is 5th Sunday which means Fellowship meal after church and hanging out! After that the Bakers are having a party at their house that is gonna be a blast. :D
I think I'm bored....I need a project. Mom, and Dean, and Micah have their arbonne thing...Even Jonnah loves studying up and being involved in all that....It bores. me. lol. Maybe when I am old enough to make some money at it it won't be so boring. :P I need to learn something new on my guitar. I loooove playing my guitar and learning new chords and songs is way too fun. :D It makes me happy. I learned how to play "Mary did you know" this week and I learned like 3 new chords in the process!! That is my favorite way to learn chords. Micah can just learn the chords by themselves. lol. I like to learn them as I learn a song though.
dude...this is getting rambly.....I am tired. ^_^
The other day Me and Jonnah put on gorgeous red formal dresses and did a photo shoot outside in the freezing weather and threatening rain. It was awesome. :D The sky was so dark and it really made the colors of all the leaves and grass look gorgeous. Anyways....

Jonnah and I didn't have anyone outside to take this pic for us...so we put the camera on "panorama" setting and I took a pic of her, then she took a pic of me, and it worked really well! We're proud of it. :D

Heyo!

Well, Not much has been going on recently! :) The past few days Mom, Jonnah, and I have been cleaning out and organizing all the closets in the house. Not my favorite job but I am SO glad it is done! We also went through the scrapbook stuff that hasn't been booked yet and organized it by year. That was a chore. :D Today is a chill day with really nothing going on. Mom is making Lishy's birthday present, the kids are playing duplos, The kids are mowing the lawn, and I'm vegging. lol. 

Sunday was Jason and Gavie's birthday party here at the house. :) They had already gotten their gifts so we just had good food, sang happy birthday, and hung out. :) Me, Jonnah, Tabbi Hamp, and some of the kids all went out to pet the horses that afternoon 'cause one of them had gotten out and had spent the weekend in out yard. :D So while they were all hanging out at the fence we went out to pet them. :) Anywho, That was when a lizard wet up the leg of my pants and caused some excitement and laughter....lol. That was an adventure.....

I am SO excited about tomorrow! Tomorrow some of us kids get to go help Aaron and Jen move into their new apartment! I am so glad that they are moving back. :) I have missed them a ton! I'm so excited to see how big Li'l Della has grown. ^_^
Friday is orientation at orchestra. :) Last Friday was awesome. :D It was review and auditions for returning students and  I got to hang out with my gang of girls all day. :D It was so much fun getting to see all of them again! <3 <3
Blogger is acting up today....On my blog list it's not showing me ANY new posts even though I know that people have posted more recent than it is showing me. And on top of that it is showing me ancient posts from weeks ago and saying that they are ALL from 2 days ago. grrr......And it made me upload every single picture one. at. a. time. yep. Blargh. thunderstormish weather...

I absolutely love rainy thunderstorm threatening days!! ^_^ It is kinda dark outside with quiet thunder every once in a while, the wind is blowing the trees, every now and then you can feel a raindrop and everything is lovely. This kind of weather always puts me in the mood for walks. And playing my guitar. :) lol. I love to play my guitar outside in this kind of weather. Maybe that is odd but it just sounds so awesome with the trees and thunder!  I just got in from a walk and now I am sitting here chillin' with a cup of coffee. <3
Anyways, later today is Gavie's birthday party!! I can't believe he is going to be a whole year old tomorrow!!! :o <3 <3 He is getting so big! <3 <3 Tomorrow is Jason's birthday as well!! :D We are having a birthday party for both of them next Sunday.

Lovin' Life!!

*In a voice just like Gru's* "Hello Everybody!!!"
I have had the loveliest weekend ever!!! :D Well, Saturday was regular old Saturday I guess lol. Cleaning, cooking, and the like. I also babysat some that day because Mom and Dad went to a birthday party for one of the men at church. ^_^ So I guess it was kinda boring. :D lol.

Yesterday was my birthday party!!! It was *SO* much FUN!!! I got a HUGE surprise too!!! We have a tradition in our family that when a girl turns 16 she gets her hopechest! Mom and I had been looking at them for a while but I was sure that it would be several months before we would be able to afford one because dad is having trouble finding a steady job and we have had to be careful with our budget. A hope chest is NOT cheap! lol. Anywho, I was watching all the other March birthday kids open their gifts when mom was like "Rachel's is coming from the other room." I was like "waaa??" and Dean and Micah walked out with the most GORGEOUS Hope chest in the world!! It is the one I had decided on and I was really looking forward to getting it! I SO did not expect to get it so soon!! I was so very shocked!!!!! It is beyond beautiful!!! I am in love with it! I got a ton of lovely gifts from my darling brothers and sisters and parents to fill it with and it is sitting in my room full of beautiful things from people I love. <3 <3 <3 <3 It was such a special day! ^_^

After gifts was dessert. Mom had made a whole bunch of amazing things and we all stuffed ourselves as much as we could after the Chicken/fajita/taco salad we had just had for lunch! :D :D After the babies went to bed at 7 o' clock all us bigger kids (bigger kids being Dad, Mom, Dean, Micah, Jonnah, Me, Jo and Q, and josh and Ty) Watched The Tourist. Three words. A-MAZ-ING!!!!! It was GREAT!! Definitely one of my new faves! I loved it! ^_^

It was a lovely day....

I was hoping to watch Megamind last night but the Redbox Josh went to Didn't have it. :P Oh well. I asked mom to bring it home with her this afternoon and I REALLY hope she remembers!!! I love that one. Noni was watching it yesterday evening while I was chatting with her and we were quoting it back and forth! It was SOOOO Funny!!!!!! <3
